Counting the day
I do like my job... but not a big fan of it... as I'm thinking about my future also..... so I will leave this topic inside my head... and will just typing other things....
I have't buying any makeup brushes in this 2 months... and now I'm eyeing this cute babies...
Do the trick buff and line brushes set $49.50 in MAC website
This is one of the 2009 holiday collection from MAC. I'm ordering it from my friend's sister that will be back from USA end of this year... hopefully I will get it a.k.a. not sold out.... *finger cross*
It was since forever I always wanted to have MAC 187 and 168 brushes... including 209 and 219 brushes.... but buy it all in a regular size will upset my wallet .... until I saw this set as a part of holiday set in MAC website.... and for the last brush, 252, I think it will be great to apply eyeshadow base or concealer... so I will take 252 in this set as a bonus... :D
Beside of it, I also planning to get some more of Everyday Minerals' brushes....
Oh how I love makeup brushes....
As for the makeup itself, I just add Stila lipglaze into my wish list
See how cute they are?
And also some of MAC products.....
I looove holiday!!
Alright.... now back to today.... not yet holiday... still got some tasks to do...
One important thing to learn today:
If you want to see the real personality of someone, learn it by how they treat their down line.... not how they treat their equal line or up line..
And I'm sick of this kinda person who treat her assistant like a piece of crap.... hello? only her assistance got this 'nice' treatment, ironically she play nice toward the rest of us ... ckckck..... how pathetic life can be...
*continue to sipping my coffee... *

My Eye and Lips Brushes
Here they are.... The babies!
1. Smudge brush from Make Up Show. IDR 90k?
No more re-stock from the seller.
I love this brush to applying eyeshadow on lower lash line. Or to smudge the eyeliner that applied on my lower lash line as well. Pick up color so well, dense and stiff enough to do these purposes. I think this one is sintetic hair. Love it!
2. Angled eye brush from Anna Sui. Purchased it in 2008 for IDR 120k.
Love this brush! I used to use it to applying gel eyeliner *you can see the picture, the brush so dirty, should be white goat hair!* I can make thin-thick line using this, no beat so far for me *because I don't want to buy MAC since this one can do it well .... :D*. I think this is similiar to MAC 266 or MAC 208.
3. Angled eye brush from Make Up Show. Purchased for IDR 200k with another 4 brushes in 1 travelling set :D
I cannot use it for gel eyeliner, so I use it to applying my eyebrow set to my eyebrow, and this can do the job well. I love it. So soft but also stiff enough. And pick up the color just right.
4. MAC 217 Blending brush. US$ 22.50
This is my first eyeshadow brush. And I love it so much, I can use it for all. Applying and blending. This is so Holy Grail brush for me. But now since I need a shorter time to do my makeup, I have several other brushes to help this accomplish the job quicker, since sometimes I need to use several colors in one time, and don't have time to clean it... Hehe..... Lagian gw juga banci brush gitu....
5. MAC 226 Small Tapered Blending Brush. US$ 24.50
This is my life saver .... when I overdo applied eyeshadow on my lid. Since I don't have 222 nor 224 yet, I use this one to blend the color on my upper lid, or for crease. This can do the jobs well, because the hair is sintetik and soft. So not like 217, this one more to blend the color to fade it. I use it with my skin color's eyeshadow, to blend the eyeshadow color at my upper lid.. So far I got satisfied with this brush. Love it!
6&7 Eye Shader brush from Make Up Show. Dupe for MAC 239. Purchased IDR 80k
I'm very pleased with this brush, till I bought one more for stock. Very similiar with MAC 239. No doubt. The hair must be natural, because I feel it same with my MAC 217. I use this to applying eyeshadow only. Temptalia said she can use it for blending, but I can't. I rather use MAC 217 or MAC 226 for blending purpose. Pick up the color and also distribute it nicely. Love it!
8. Eyeshadow brush from Ecotools. In one package with another 3 brushes. Purchased at IDR 150k? Will depend on the seller, because only can do custom purchase, since this thing only sale in USA though.
I use it so far to applying and blending powder concealer around my eyes and also on the side of my nose. Too big for eyeshadow, since my eyelids are not that big. even it's so, I think this one can still useful for blending the eyeshadow. The bigger and rounder version from my MAC 226?
9. Concealer brush from Ecotools. In one package with number 7 brush.
Never use it so far, since I rarely use liquid concealer. If I use it, I pat it with sponge only, to avoid crackiness and streakiness.
10. Angled eye brush from Make Up Show. IDR 80k
I use it to shading my nose, which I rarely do. Never use it for eye makeup so far. Maybe later I will find a way to make it more useful ... hehe...
11. Small Shader brush from Make Up Show. Dupe MAC 242. IDR 90k
I use it to applying pigment. Usually spray water (mixing medium from MAC or eyedrop?) to this brush before apply the pigment, because I hate to use dry pigment, it will fall out around my face .... oh no!
12. Small Shader brush from Make Up Show. Small version of brush number 10. In small travelling package with another brushes, bought IDR 200k.
I use it to applying paint pot or fluidline to eyelids. Any cream based eyeshadow.
13. Bent Eyeliner brush from Coastal Scent. IDR 50k
Just bought it to apply gel eyeliner. Never use it so far. Hehe...
14. Eyeshadow brush from Make Up Show. In small travelling package with another brushes, bought IDR 200k.
Use it very seldom... hohohoh...
15. Lips Brush from Too Faced.
Got it with the lipglosses palette. Love it because of the cap... Hehe, so I can bring it everywhere in my purse
16. Lip brush from Make Up Show. In small travelling package with another brushes, bought IDR 200k.
17. Lip Brush from The Face Shop.
Never use it for lipstick nor lipgloss. I used to use it for lower lash line eyeshadow application. But recently never use it again. Still on my brushes box though. I think I will find a way to use it back.... :D
18. Eye Kabuki brush from Everyday Minerals. Bought at IDR 115. Thanks Brooklyn ;)
Still in my mom's house, that's why not in the picture.
That's all. There are some more brushes I will buy again... Still eyeing those brushes!

My face brushes....
But there are several brushes that I can't leave without.... Because they're simply make my makeup time shorter and applies my makeup product impressively
Here they are...
1. Buffing brush from Make Up Show.... IDR 130k
I think this one is quite close enough with MAC 109, one of the most expensive MAC brushes.
This brush is from China, I think, because I purchased it from the seller who send it from Shanghai *Thanks Jule-Jen:)*...
The description from Jule, is... "Suitable for cream blush such as BBPR", but I use it for almost all cheek's makeup..... shading and blush (powder).... This can apply product precisely just whatever you wish applied on your cheek.... For shading as well, since I don't have angled brush for shading *such as MAC 168 type*
I'm planning to purchase the new one for cream blush. Because is so trouble to use 1 brush for both cream and powder products..... *well, since I usually wash my brushes rarely.... wkwkwkwkw-lazy doh!*
2. Flat Top brush from Everyday Minerals. approximately IDR 110-150 or more, depens on the custom purchase seller.
This brush only can be purchased by their official online shop website. The brand is from USA. Known as one of the famous mineral makeup brands, EM also sale their own brushes. I've own 3 of their brushes so far. 1 Still brand new, just arrived in my mom's house.... 2 with me here, including this HG brush.
This brush is all about mineral foundation*the powder ones*! I use it mostly for mineral foundation. This brush distribute the powder into my face flawlessly... The bristles are so soft and consistent. Love it!
Of course this one can use for other face product *powder concealer, unpigmented blush, etc*...
I love this brush much better than my old kabuki brush, the one I'd previously used for mineral foundation *I used to love this kabuki brush for loose mineral foundie thou*.
Planning to buy one more someday just in case this product is discontinued in the future!
3. My Old mini Pink Kabuki brush from Kemeiru (discontinued).. was only IDR 50k
I got it from Make Up Show's seller as mentioned in brush number 1's description.
Although the bristles are not as soft as EM Flat Top brush*just because EM Flat Top brush is incredibly soft*, I still love this thing. I used to use it for mineral powder foundation. But now I use it to blend the powder/foundation on my face....
Good to blend the harsh line too, like often appeared after shading my cheek or overdone blush. This brush will retire soon I think, because the appearance looks so awfully worn by me *as you can see from the picture above*.... hehe... I love this brush so much that I'm now trying not to abuse it while wash it, so the brush can 'live' longer.... :)
That's all I can think from all my brushes.
I still use other brushes sometimes. Below are some brushes I use too but not significantly can't live without... hehehe...
1. MAC 190 US$32
This is supposed to be a classic brush to apply liquid foundation. I purchased this one because I simply don't want to use my fingers to apply liquid foundation. And also because I just curious with this tool.
I still don't know how to use this brush alone to apply liquid foundation. I always ended up with streaky finnish look even cakey sometimes with this brush alone.
So daripada mubazir.... I now use this to apply liquid foundation all over my face just like that, and then pat it thoroughly with sponge. I found later out that a good sponge can make our face looks flawless (and airbrushed), if we use it in the correct way.
Recently I don't use liquid foundation so often *I even leave it in my room in Jakarta!*, because I need more natural look for daily use. My mineral powder foundation does it! *if I have time, which is so rare, so I ended up with loose powder everyday.... hahaha*
2. Big Fan brush from Make Up Show... IDR 80k
Simple to put blush for soft look, or powder for finnishing touch, and also for fall out eyeshadow/pigments all ove my face after I got my eyes donn... This brush is versatile and big enough to do it all.
3. Stippling brush from Make Up Show... dupe for the infamous MAC 187... was purchased around IDR 145k if I'm not wrong.... now the price is at IDR 180k....
There are many MAC 187 dupes out there. I even own 2 from 2 different brands, and this is one of it.... And also the best :) Even I still not yet try to use this one, but I can tell it because of the bristles. Compare with the older one *same type, different brand* that I previously already have, this one can be prefectly use for stippling the liquid foundation for sure.
Bla bla bla.... I still have more face brushes......
5. Mini Kabuki from Ecotools, which I use for blush also, since I have many many blushes...
6. Blush brush from Ecotools also.... still want me to mention what is that for?
7. The big Face and Body brush from The Body Shop. The very first face brush I've bought. Now I use it for loose powder, MAC MSFN and also body shimmer, occasionally..
8. Mini Angled brush from Make Up Show.... This one is from it's travelling package. Rarely use, because I simply don't know what's for. Too small for cheek shading purpose, and too big for nose... Well I guess someday I will know how to use this one and for what I can use this for... Haha...
9. Long Handled Kabuki from Everyday Minerals.... This is supposed to be a great kabuki brush, according to the review from Makeupalley.com. And from another forum's reviewers. I guess I just unlucky for this. Because I got the shed one! I think it's already shed more than 100-200 bristles since I purchased it.... Very very kecewa......
10. Blush Blender brush from Prestige. ... This one has nothing special, I use it just for very pigmented blush, or for finnishing touch, since this brush is very soft, so it's suitable for light handed swiping need.
I think that's all for my face brushes..... I already gave 1 of my blush brushes to my sister.... :
Think to purchase more? Of course!!

Secret weapons
face brushes
eye brushes and tools lagi mejeng
dalem kotak biar gak debuan
And these are my skincare.... I only use some products though.... not so many.... because I don't really have time for skincare ritual... But I still have to use some pruducts.... I don't want to look older than my age or I want to look younger than my age, perhaps?... hahaha
As you see in the box, there are my haircare product as well, and 2 bottles of perfume!.... actually my favorite ones ... Those that I use for daily basis, can be found in my bathroom...
Talking about skincare, my favorite products are from Lush.... I have 2 toners from it... And planning to buy 1 more... so I got all *they only have 3 kind of toner*... and my eyecream.... will not repurchase it I think, because it's too light for me... But I like the packaging... so hygienic... uhmm... maybe I will repurchase anyway... haha... or back to Clinique all about eyes and I will place it in the Lush's pump bottle?
I've tried the lotion about a year ago... I think it's called Celestial.... I'm not really impressed with it... Kinda greasy for me.. I thought maybe because it was made not for those who live in the tropical climate area....? I'm pretty sure, this one good for you who live in the cold and dry climate... So for lotion I use DDML from Clinique instead... not because of what.... just so my face got some moisture but also not greasy.. Still searching for a better product...
Back again to Lush!
I also likes their face cleanser.... Though I will use some cleansing oil to clean my face after outdoor activity/makeup first, before hit the Lush cleanser to my face.... I love the soothing action from it.... I've tried Coalface, Fresh Farmacy, Herbalism, and soon will try Aqua Marine, after my Herbalism used up....
I love their shampoo bar too.... I just purchased another one... Ultimate Shine, because my Seanik almost all gone *uhmm, I think I've finnish the last piece last night*..
One more product I have from Lush is the Peach Massage Bar.... rarely use it.... no timeee.... You have to put it in your palms for some second/a minute so that your body heat will melt it into an oil... The smell is so nice... But for my entire body... how many time I have to hold it??... Usually I just put it into microwave for merely few seconds... and taraaa, you can use it to moisture you skin....
Will try another products from them soon... and maybe I will post a detail review for each product... ;)
